DD Day at the Legislature

DD Day at the Legislature is an opportunity to advance the grassroots movement for people with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Join hundreds of fellow advocates, families and colleagues to make your voice heard!
At DD Day you will receive briefings on critical topics in disability policy this session, and have the opportunity to go to House and Senate Office buildings to meet with your elected officials* and their staff to share your information, experiences, and tell your story.
DD Day sells out each year! Registration will closed on February 4, or sooner if capacity is reached.

* You must schedule your own appointments with your legislators and bring a valid, state-issued ID to enter Legislative buildings.
$20: Self-advocates, Direct Support Professionals, family members
$27: All others (organizational employees [except DSP’s] and volunteers, professional staff and Government employees)
You must register for this event! ASL and Spanish Interpretation will be provided for those who indicate a need for these services on the registration form. An accessible changing room will also be available upon request.
DD Day at the Legislature is presented by the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Coalition, The Arc Maryland, Disability Rights Maryland, Maryland Association of Community Services, the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council and People on the Go of Maryland.
